Creative Writing Workshop with Miriam Calleja

Our 2025 Artist-in-Residence, poet Miriam Calleja, will lead a creative writing workshop, "Blindspot: Remembering and Researching." This workshop will guide participants through the foundations of incorporating research into creative writing. You'll leave the session with a deeper understanding of weaving together memoir and research techniques. You will also gain practical and intuitive skills to explore and write personal stories with creativity. The session is open to all those interested in writing and the creative process. Participants may bring research on their topic of interest to use in class or use the Mobile Medical Museum-based samples provided.
