Whether you're trying to identify a mystery plant, need advice on landscaping with natives, or simply want to deepen your knowledge, our panel of experienced native plant enthusiasts is here to help. *If you are seeking help identifying a certain plant, if at all possible, cut off a piece of the plant and immediately put it in a cup of water so that it wilts as little as possible. (An old parmesan cheese jar works very well for this, with the stem sticking up through one of the cheese holes!) Or, if you’re bringing photos of the plant, make sure they’re in focus; close-ups of various parts of the plant will help with identification.
