Bios

LONG CALL A queer ex-therapist and a relatively tall ex-farmer based in Halifax / Kjipuktuk, Nova Scotia, Long Call is the indie sibling duo Avalon (she/they) and Landen (he/him) Moore. Long Call began as a self-taught at home recording and production project. Since playing their first show in the spring of 2022, Long Call has gone on to book, manage and play three national tours, performing to growing audiences in bars, backyards, living rooms, and theatres across the country and at home in Halifax. Sometimes very quiet, sometimes very loud. Joyfully, and recklessly, DIY. DAISY VAN DER WEE Daisy Van der Wee is a Halifax-based artist who pairs dynamic live performance with unassuming lyrical strength and tenderness. Shifting from powerful cries to gentle invitations, Daisy brings you through the full depth of their experience. In the past three years, Daisy Van der Wee has completed three independently managed cross-country tours, released a series of soaring and intimate singles, and is currently in the midst of an ambitious dual-album project: producing two sets of recordings of the same songs with wildly different arrangements. The first single “Naked In Your Arms" out July 11th, 2025.
