Sauer Sundays Fermentation Club: Sourdough

Welcome to Growing Pontiac's Fermentation Club, Sauer Sundays! Once a month we will be gathering at the 40 W Studio Space to offer equipment, support, tunes and guidance while you craft your own funky ferments. Check out our recipes and feel free to bring your own!

October's theme is sourdough and natural leavening! Come to the meeting and bring home a starter. We will be talking about milling fresh grain, sourdough success on a budget (do you need a fancy dutch oven?) and working with a baking expert on getting good results in proofing and bulk fermentation.

Location is TBD - we will be working with a baking partner in a commercial kitchen for this one, folks.

*Jars and fermenting supplies like airlocks may be available for sale at cost in the studio
