We are a new mosque, opened January 2025, and already serving hundreds of congregants in the Ottawa core. We're open while renovating and can use your support! Our sermon ( Khutbah ) is primarily in English, and includes Arabic translations.
Meet Our Imam
I ma m Dr. Muhammad Suliman leads our sermons and prayer. He holds a Ph.D. degree in English Literature from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). He has been an assistant professor at Al Azhar University. Before coming to Ottawa to serve as imam, Dr. Suliman helps various positions as imam and chaplain at institutions in Mississauga, Ontario, including Meadowvale Islamic Centre.

Aside from our weekly congregation, we offer 5 daily prayers at Centretown Mosque. Prayer times can be found on our website www.centretownmosque.ca or on Mawaqit.

Parking - Limited, Street Parking
Please be considerate to our Centretown neighbors when parking. Our priority is consideration to our neighbors. Do not block houses, driveways or establishments. If you need parking assistance, reach out to us. We recommend taking the LRT (Lyon, Parliament) or public transit (bus 6, 7, 11, 14) to get to us.
