Return to the Bottle Swamp 5
Those of you who have been following our work for some years now will know that we first visited the infamous Bottle Swamp on the Whitestown Stream in 2019. Since then, apart from a break for COVID in 2020, we have been back every year, and we plan to return for Part 5 on Sunday 20 July. Once again we will be collaborating with βThe Big Weigh Inβ organised by our friends from Flossie & the Beachcleaners.
Meet at the bridge on Whitestown Drive in the Whitestown Industrial Estate at 10.00. We will need people with waders and those who can help on the bank. The stream is surrounded by briars and nettles, so wear appropriate clothing.
Pickers and bags will be provided, but please bring your own heavy duty gloves.
