Super Saturday - Paper Weaving

Have you ever wondered how paper itself becomes art? This week’s Super Saturday is inspired by Dieu Donné, a New York studio dedicated to the art of papermaking. Learn basic paper weaving techniques and design your own woven masterpiece using colorful construction and scrapbooking paper. Afterwards, explore the galleries to see stunning paper art up close. As always, Super Saturday is free and open from 10 AM to 12 PM — drop in and let your creativity flow!

Super Saturday takes place every week during the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art free hours from 10a-12p. Guests can enjoy drop in art making and curated gallery guides to give them a closer look at the art on view. All ages are welcome! Please register in advance.
