Super Saturday - Textures

Art isn’t just something you see — it’s something you feel! This week’s Super Saturday invites you to explore texture, inspired by the bold work of Roy Lichtenstein and Sam Gilliam. Using materials like bubble wrap, yarn, cardboard, and stamps, you’ll create a vibrant abstract piece full of tactile surprises. Super Saturday is always free, every Saturday from 10 AM to 12 PM — perfect for curious kids and creative grown-ups alike!

Super Saturday takes place every week during the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art free hours from 10a-12p. Guests can enjoy drop in art making and curated gallery guides to give them a closer look at the art on view. All ages are welcome! Please register in advance.
