Swing in Rhythm summer lessons - The Tap Shim Sham

💥NEWSFLASH! 💥

What a treat! We've arranged a final surprise as part of our summer lessons programme - The Tap Shim Sham with Roosmarijn!

She says:

You might know the shim sham as the solo dance routine that a lot of people dance in socials, but originally the shim sham was created as a tapdance, choreographed by Leonard Reed and Willie Bryant in 1928. The dance was intended as a show final that could be done by all the performers of the show. Soon it was adopted by tapdancers all over the world and also found its way in the solo jazz/lindy hop scene with different variations.

Are you ready to learn this routine!? Tap dance experience is not required and I'll make sure to bring a suitcase of extra tap shoes (but I can't promise to bring everybody's shoe sizes, so make sure to put on some shoes you can easily dance in for 1,5 hours).

🕐Duration: 1.5 hours
📅When?: 20 August, 1930 - 2100
💶Cost:15 euro
👥 Teachers: Roosmarijn
📶 Level: Open Level
