Little Bird July Book Club

We would love to see you at our Little bird book club. We meet on the last Wednesday of each month in the cafe, to discuss a book that we have read, the ideas behind it, and many other themes and threads that evolve in shared conversation.
For our July evening we will be discussing: "Drive your plow over the bones of the dead" by Olga Tokarczuk
"The novel is, in effect, a murder mystery: in the bleak Polish midwinter, men in an isolated village are being murdered. But it is also a primer on the politics of vegetarianism, a dark feminist comedy, an existentialist fable and a paean to William Blake"

Tickets include a glass or two of wine (or tea if preferred) and shared snacks.
