Join us for a special screening of The Life of Chuck, a stunning fantasy drama directed by Mike Flanagan and adapted from the novella by Stephen King. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 15, 2024, where it won the People’s Choice Award, and was released in June 2025. Widely praised as one of the standout films of the year, it’s already being called an instant classic.
Told in three acts presented in reverse order, the story opens with the mysterious presence of Chuck, portrayed by Tom Hiddleston, whose image appears everywhere—from billboards to radio ads—sparking questions that unfold throughout the film. The ensemble cast also features Chiwetel Ejiofor, Mark Hamill, and Nick Offerman as the narrator.
Paul Marino will introduce the film, offer questions to consider, and lead a post-screening discussion.
