Who is Jesus? The real Jesus. Not the one painted by our culture or politics or latest fads. Not the Hollywood or Headline version. But the real Jesus as revealed to us in the Scriptures. Beginning January 4, we're going to take another opportunity to meet Him as we’ll start a new Sunday sermon series through the Gospel of Mark, walking verse by verse through the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Each Sunday, we’ll open God’s Word and let the story unfold as Mark tells it—clear, powerful, and centered on Christ. Some journeys are meant to be taken together—slowly, faithfully, one step at a time. One verse at a time as we meet the Real Jesus.
What makes this journey special is where it leads.
As we move through chapters 1–10, our path will naturally bring us to Mark 11 on Palm Sunday, where we’ll pause to reflect on Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. From there, we’ll slow down even more during Holy Week, gathering each night to focus on the final chapters—one chapter at a time—before celebrating the resurrection together on Easter Sunday, when we’ll conclude the series.
