Audition Notice:
The Corbin Theatre in Liberty will be holding auditions for the dramatic comedy BETTER LATE by Larry Gelbert, known best as a creator and writer of the hit sitcom M*A*S*H.
Married couple Lee and Nora have decided to take in Nora's ex-husband Julian while he recovers from a stroke. What could go wrong? Their marriage will be tested and old secrets be revealed while Nora's and Julian's adult son Billy is having troubles of his own.
Auditions will be held:
Saturday, January 3 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Sunday, January 4 from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Drop in at any time during the two hours.

Please bring a list of any conflicts, a picture, and your theatrical resume if you have one. Auditions are cold readings from the script. If you would like to present a one-minute monologue, you may, but it is not required.
ROLES AVAILABLE - all ethnicities encouraged to audition
LEE - 55+ Man, a Hollywood music composer. Sharp-tongued, easily hurt. Rational to a point.
JULIAN - 70's Man, retired car dealer, recovering from stroke, never recovered from the divorce. Getting finicky in his old age. Tries to be friendly and positive.
NORA - 55+ Woman, very put-together, a woman in control, a go-getter, tries to get everyone to do what she thinks is best for them. Wants to make things right.
(note Lee, Julian, and Nora are all large, lead roles. Must be comfortable with a lot of memorization and some swearing on stage)
BILLY - 30's Still the child of divorce, indecisive, hopes things will work themselves out.
Rehearsals will be mostly Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights 6:30 pm-9 pm; and Saturday mornings 9 am-12 noon, until Tech Week. Performances are February 26 - March 1. Directed by Shari Wassergord.
