The Oak Grove Community Closet is excited to host our FREE Winter Coat & Winter Clothing Giveaway!
Saturday, October 17
10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Oak Grove Baptist Church
Family Life Center Gym
8044 Leedstown Road
Colonial Beach, VA 22443
All are welcome from our local community Westmoreland & King George and church family.
Winter coats, winter clothing, shoes, and other essentials will be available while supplies last.
What to Expect:
• Guests will check in at our Welcome Table
• Families will receive event guidelines, a shopping bag, and shopping instructions and able to shop up to 30 minutes so we can allow other families to receive blessings and keep the lines moving
• Families may shop in organized sections for infants, children, and adults, including shoes and winter essentials such as hats, gloves, and scarves
We kindly ask families to take only a few items per family member so we can bless as many households as possible.
Donations
We will be accepting gently used and new winter clothing and shoes prior to the event.
Accepted items, drop-off locations, and donation times will be announced soon on our Facebook page. DO NOT drop off any donations at the church. We will send out an announcement once we are accepting donations.
This outreach program is made possible through generous donations and volunteers who want to share God’s love and blessings with others. Thank you for helping us serve our community!
