Guitar Legends is a triple bill mini festival on the top of Howth Hill in the new indoor venue at the Summit Inn featuring 3 of Ireland's most iconic guitar players.

Mik Pyro & Dublin Blues Cartel:
Mik and the boys have played at our festival every year since 2019 and have become a major attraction for fans of guitar slinging blues rock. Playing mostly a version of New Orleans R'n'B with a classic rock twist, sandwiched with swing, Rock'n'Roll, Soul, Funk, Blues and rap of all eras, Dublin Blues Cartel’s set consists of radical re-workings of well known R’n’B standards which segue into lengthy improvisations that are one minute, blues jazz crescendo, the next a funk dervish. Featuring Mik Pyro, John Quearney and Andre Antunes.

Brush Sheils:
Having played football in the 60s for Bohemiams FC, Brush was originally a bass player in the critically acclaimed Gary Moore 70's trio 'SKID ROW'. After setting up his own band Brush switched to guitar and became a staple of music festivals in Ireland throughout the 80s and 90s. Over time he developed into one of the great blues rock guitar players of his generation while also becoming one of Ireland's best loved frontmen. Brush delivers his raucous blues rock with plenty of humour and a celtic twist. In 2012 Brush suffered heart failure due a virus. Since then he has returned to sport and now holds the 100m record for over 80s.

Mal O'Brien:
Mal is the guitar player that every guitar player in Ireland goes to watch. A long and varied career has seen him perform with many great blues artists. To watch him play is to see a master at work. Not to be missed.
