This nationally recognised qualification is ideal for anyone who works or adventures more than 30 minutes from immediate medical help. Accredited by ITC First and regulated by Ofqual, it’s the standard required by many outdoor governing bodies and meets IOL Band 3 Outdoor First Aid training.

What to Expect
Our courses are friendly, practical and hands-on. You’ll train indoors and outdoors, with realistic scenarios that build confidence for real incidents.

• Casualty assessment & scene safety
• Airway management, CPR & AED
• Choking, seizures & unresponsiveness
• Bleeding, shock & catastrophic bleeds
• Fractures, soft tissue & spinal injuries
• Burns, chest & pelvic injuries
• Anaphylaxis & medical emergencies
• Hypothermia, heat illness & exposure
• Outdoor risks: bites, stings, Lyme disease, Weil’s disease
• Triage & remote incident management
