Directed by Patrick D. Burk
Musical Direction by Kathy White

August 14–16
Step into the spotlight with Chicago: Teen Edition, a high-energy, jazz-infused musical experience designed for teen performers ready to take their skills to the next level.
This summer youth theater program for ages 13–18 offers performers the opportunity to dive into one of Broadway’s most iconic musicals while building technique, confidence, and stage presence in a focused and supportive rehearsal environment.
Featuring sharp choreography, bold storytelling, and unforgettable music, Chicago tells the satirical story of fame, ambition, and the media circus surrounding crime and celebrity. This Teen Edition has been thoughtfully adapted to maintain the show’s style and impact while remaining appropriate for younger performers.
Participants will rehearse throughout the program and present a fully staged production for the community. Along the way, teens will develop skills in acting, singing, and dance, collaborate with peers, and experience the demands and rewards of performing a major musical.
Ideal for teens with prior performance experience or those ready to commit to a more challenging theatrical process, Chicago: Teen Edition promises an exciting, empowering summer on stage.
Based on the play by Maurine Dallas Watkins
