The workshop will end with a question to respond to: What does having a park in your neighborhood means to you? This art making workshop is a part of the โUpRooted Projectโ a creative art making project by Stephanie Onwenu that explores creativity, art and history in public spaces while capturing the stories of place.

A visual artist, creative, educator, and landscape designer who integrates natural materials, 3D art, and modeling to convey expressive design concepts. As the founder of Ijeomalandartscapes LLC, she explores the intersections of art, design, history, and culture. The name "Ijeoma," derived from the Nigerian Igbo language, means "a wish of happiness or a safe journey in life,โ reflecting her vision. Rooted in storytelling and design, her work emphasizes the connection between landscapes and art. She challenges norms, experiments with materials, and pushes the boundaries of traditional artistic approaches. Through her practice, Stephanie transforms spaces with intention and meaning, creating an artistic and cultural dialogue.
