FBC Denver & Front Range August Outing
About this Event
Join the Feminist Bird Club Denver & Front Range Chapte for our August Bird outing at Sawhill and Walden Ponds! This program is in collaboration with Denver Audubon and City of Boulder's Basil Binkley, who will be discussing queer ecology while we search for birds.

The address is 3893 N 75th St. Boulder, CO 80301. Major cross-streets are 75th street and Valmont road in Boulder, Colorado.
When: Sunday, August 17th from 8-10am
What to expect: We'll walk 1-2 miles slowly on a hard-packed dirt trail and boardwalk (if time allows).
- All are welcome on this outing! No birding experience is needed! We can provide a loaner set of binoculars if needed.
- August weather is reliably hot, so please wear appropriate clothing and bring snacks, water, sunscreen, and birding gear, if you have it.
Accessibility Info: Location includes free parking (ADA spots available) and vault toilets. The terrain is a relatively flat, unpaved trail and we will be traveling 1-2 miles at a slow pace. - We want to make sure we continue to take care of one another. Following current health guidelines, masks are optional on this walk.
