The City of Columbia’s Office of Business Opportunities will be hosting the Mastering Social Media for Business Growth workshop on Thursday, August 14th beginning at 10:00AM at the Busby Street Community Center, 1735 Busby Street, Columbia, SC 29201.

This dynamic, hands-on workshop is designed for small and medium-sized businesses that want to strengthen their online presence, create impactful content, and understand how to use data to drive results. At the end of the workshop, attendees will learn:

· How to plan a month of content in one day

· Camera etiquette & how to film yourself

· How to grow on social media

· How to use analytics to drive results

The featured speaker is Mr. Ken Walker of Walker Branding, Marketing & Consulting in Columbia, SC. Ken is well known for his social media posts highlighting local businesses here in the Columbia area and has made Columbia a hub of national attention and recognition. Ken has appeared on HGTV’s House Hunters and was named “2024 Best Local Social Media Influencer of Columbia!” Ken is the go-to guide for businesses and influencers looking to build their brand, expand their reach, and achieve lasting success.
