The AIA Detroit Celebration of Architecture is the largest annual gathering of AEC professionals in Michigan, and AIA Detroit is proud to use it as a platform to showcase how Design can be a driver for sustainable and equitable development around the world.
2025 marks a decade since Detroit became the first and only UNESCO City of Design in the U.S. As a UNESCO City of Design, Detroit highlights the power of design to drive bold solutions, tackling challenges like equity, cultural heritage, technological innovation, AI, education, and community resilience.
