Voices Unlocked is a public storytelling event that aims to break the silence surrounding serious mental illness. Through powerful TED-style talks, live music, and open dialogue, the event amplifies the voices of those with lived experience to humanize mental health, challenge stigma, and inspire change.
Held in the heart of Midtown Detroit, the event will feature:
- TED-style talks from nationally recognized speakers with lived experience
- Moderated panel with audience Q&A
- Live music or creative performances
- Resource booths from sponsors and local orgs
- Attendance: Up to 200 students, professionals, and community members
Doors open at 6pm. Event 7-9pm.
