CALL FOR ENTRIES

The fleur-de-lis has been woven into the identity of Mobile since its earliest days as a French colony. This call for entries invites artists to explore and reinterpret this iconic symbol through their own creative lens. The only requirement: the fleur-de-lis must be a central, intentional element of the artwork.

Open to all artists.

DEADLINE: All entries be submitted electronically by midnight, December 20, 2025.

Artwork may be 2- or 3-dimensional and done in any medium. Please note that you may be asked to provide display infrastructure (pedestal, monitor) for your work.

Each artist may submit up to three (3) entries.

This is a juried exhibition. If your entry is not selected, it by no means is a statement about the quality of your artwork. Jurors look at various criteria, including what will create a cohesive exhibit.

The entry fee is $20 per entry or $50 for 3 entries.

The entry fee is non-refundable. All entry fees will go toward awards, outreach projects, and exhibition expenses.

This is a cash-award exhibit (4 awards).
