The Folk Vino and Pizza festival is a celebration of the ultimate combo! It’s like TASTE BUDS, WINE, and PIZZA had a baby and it’s called pizza and wine! Throughout history, these two have been best buddies, loving simplicity and flavor. When you put them together, people just get happier! Last year’s event was a blast, and this year’s lineup is even better!
Get ready for a wine and pizza party at Folk Vino Pizza 25! We’ve got some of the best winemakers in the Western Cape joining us, like Mullineux, Bosman Family Vineyards, Cap Maritime, Keermont, Oak Valley, Vondeling, Winshaw Vineyards, Cape Collectives, David Finlayson, Holden Manz, Krone, and many more. We’ll be revealing the other big names on social media soon, so stay tuned! Beer lovers, rejoice! Jack Black is coming to surprise you with a special treat. And guess what? You can expect live music, exciting giveaways including an incredible R2000 voucher from @rosie.hips.tatoos, and a chance to sample some amazing wines while you work your way through your pairings. If you’re a wine, music, and pizza lover, there’s no better place to be than Folk Vino Pizza 25. We’ll have a little surprise welcome drink to kick things off, and you can even buy wines directly from the farm at cellar door prices. Each winery will be showcasing their own unique varietals and fabulous wines, so you’re sure to find something to suit your taste buds. And if you want to try more, you can buy extra tasting credits, buy additional tasters, glasses, or bottles of wine. It’s going to be a night to remember, so come on down and let’s make some unforgettable memories together!
Come and meet the wine makers and representatives! This is a family-friendly event, and designated drivers get free entry! We’ll also have a mocktail bar with delicious drinks for the non-alcoholic folks. And guess what? We have a play area and childminders for the little ones, so you can bring the whole family! Kids are free, and you can order pizza and other drinks. Just remember to drink responsibly, and Uber is easily available in the area. The train to St James is also a great way to join in the fun, but make alternative arrangements to get home.
