About This Workshop:

Take your aerial hoop practice beyond tricks and transitions - learn how to bring artistry, style, and polish to your performance. In this Intermediate/Level 2 workshop, students will explore how to add expression and flair to their movement, transforming sequences into dynamic and professional-looking flows.

You’ll work on:
Creating freestyle flows that connect movements with intention and creativity
Incorporating spins and fluid transitions for seamless performance quality
Exploring different types of entries into the hoop for variety and impact
Grounded elements that blend floor and aerial work together
Fine-tuning your movement for grace, control, and polished presentation

This workshop is designed for high-level Aerial Hoop 2 participants who already have the strength, repertoire, and confidence to move fluidly through a range of hoop skills. With a focus on artistry and musicality, you’ll leave feeling empowered to express yourself through hoop in a way that feels both personal and performance-ready.

About your instructor Elisabeth:

Elisabeth Magalhaes has been teaching and training instructors in fitness and aerial arts for over 30 years and is the creator of MOVATI aerial hoop programming. She loves helping people explore flow and creativity, teaching students how to move with intention while building strength and confidence. Elisabeth is excited to share her passion and guide participants through an inspiring aerial hoop experience.

Price: $37.50 plus HST - non members must pay drop in guest fee plus workshop fee.
