The internet has radically changed many things in the world, and it's safe to say that copyright isn't on the top of anyone's list. But whether you know it or not, the internet has probably made you engage directly with copyright more than any time in history.

How did this important but somewhat esoteric branch of law become a reoccurring feature of YouTuber beef? How does the Wikipedia, the world's most famous copyleft project, work? Is copyright a tool for corporate suppression and/or artistic freedom online? How did watermarks turn from an enforcement tool to an aesthetic?
