City of Mississauga and the Col. Alex Thomson Memorial, Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 82, Port Credit has invited the crew of HMS Psyche to attend the 100th Anniversary Re-Dedication of the Port Credit Cenotaph and the Acknowledgment of the New Engraving of "Afghanistan 2001-2014" on the Cenotaph, taking place on Saturday 27th September 2025
Schedule of Events:
9:00 AM - Form up, rig the boat, prepare for parade
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM → Official Re-Dedication Ceremony
11:00 AM – 2:00 PM → Community Activities including:
- BBQ & Family Fun
- Military Vehicle Displays
- Cemetery Tours & Heritage Speakers
- Re-enactors & Living History Presentations
Crew are asked to attend in 1812 kit. Following the ceremony, we will engage the public at the boat, packing up to depart for 2:00 pm.
