Imbolc

As winter continues, Imbolc creeps in. It’s a subtle turning point in the year — not the end of winter, but we are starting to feel the longer days, the additional sun in our lives.

Imbolc falls on February 2, marking the midpoint between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox. This sabbat provides a moment to pause, notice what’s beginning to shift, and to think about what you want to grow as the year unfolds. Time to sort through the seed packets!

Celebrate the event with SPIRAL (Supporting Pagans In Ritual And Life) at Susan’s house, 2012 Linden Avenue, Mishawaka. We will meet for a potluck at 6 pm. Our ritual? I’ll get out the animal cards. Have you ever wondered what your animal totems are? Wonder no more. The cards will tell us.
