New Years Day 108 Sun Salutations Practice

It's a tradition (year #7)! We HAVE to do it! ;) Join me to welcome in 2026 with a practice that builds slowly to warm the body and and creates heat and energy through our breath and movement! 108 different variations of sun salutations will challenge you but make you feel amazing to start your New Year.! We end with a well-earned savasana (final relaxation)! Join me to welcome in the New Year! Bring your mat!

Sun Salutations 🌞are a sequence of yoga poses strung together in a consistent movement, typically found in Vinyasa-style yoga. In Sanskrit, Sun Salutations are referred to as “Surya Namaskar” and were traditionally practiced to usher in the new day, hence the name. Sun Salutations are named in honor of the cycles of life.

The fire (internal heat) that you build during this practice is cleansing and detoxifying.
