Minocqua Dance presents “The Nutcracker Home Alone” a holiday performance of ballet and jazz. Joining the school is guest artist Kristen Hammer as the Sugar Plum Fairy. Ms. Hammer has been a company dancer with Madison Ballet, Nevada Ballet Theatre, Deos Contemporary Ballet, Chicago Repertory Ballet, and more.
In this dance performance, step into a world where magic meets mischief when young Clara is left home alone for the holidays. With help from her Nutcracker, she must outwit bumbling intruders with clever tricks and dance steps. Set to a sparkling blend of Tchaikovsky’s timeless score and holiday hits, this enchanting reimagining of The Nutcracker captures the wonder, humor, and heart of the season. ‘The Nutcracker Home Alone’ will include ballet, pointe, jazz and hip-hop styles of dance.
‘The Nutcracker Home Alone’ will be performed in the Lakeland Union High School auditorium Saturday, December 13 at 1:00pm and 4:00pm.
There is bake sale at intermission for the Lakeland Food Pantry. All proceeds are matched by Minocqua Dance.
