January Skill Swap

The DIY Academy teaches practical life skills in a hands-on workshop. We will meet once a month and teach 3 skills each time. January 10th, 1:00-5:00 we will have three short workshops.

Stained Glass 100
I will teach you how to cut glass for stained glass. You can also use this skill to replace a window or the glass in a picture frame. In a future class we will use the glass you cut, lead and wire to make a stained glass drum ornament.

Electronic Circuits!
Build a simple circuit and learn about resistors, capacitors, switches and LEDs. No soldering required!

Intro to Not Getting Punched
How to think about a violent encounter, legally ethically and practically, followed by some basic movement practice that will help you avoid getting hit.

Meet friends, eat snacks and learn something new!
