Заповіт (Testament) Documentary Screening

Join us for READ Ministries' Fall Celebration on Saturday, November 1st, starting at 10:30am. Doors will open at 10:00am. This year our event will feature the award-winning Ukrainian war documentary Заповіт (Testament), co-produced by READ's Foreign Projects Coordinator Josh Tokar.

As Ukrainians settle into the rhythms of war, those who are under everyday threat find ways to rebuild the world around them. A soldier returns home for ten days, a chaplain grapples with the weight of responsibility, and a mother grieves the loss of her family while reconstructing her destroyed home. These stories, amidst others, are a testament of Ukriane's history, perseverance, and plea to be remembered.

Hear first hand from Josh Tokar and Executive Director Steve Eckert as they talk about God's faithfulness and how we can make a difference. Following the viewing, there will be a lobby reception where we will offer opportunities for deeper discussion about current & future READ initiatives and a film Q&A. Filmmaker and Director Ben Tiede will also be with us for this event. Tickets are free. Please RSVP by reserving your ticket.
