The family of Willow Ufgood (Davis) discovers a baby in a basket beside a stream. When malevolent forces follow, Willow is tasked with bringing the baby to safety, accompanied by swarthy criminal Madmartigan (Kilmer). A tale of accepting unwanted responsibilities and meeting the moment, Willow continues to be a delight.
