Please join us next Thursday, October 2 at noon as we kick of our 45th anniversary. Our fall season, "Ethics, Conscience, and the Public Square," begins with the forum: "The State of Public Media," featuring Duchesne Drew, President of Minnesota Public Radio, and Sylvia Strobel, President and CEO of TPT - Twin Cities PBS.
Duchesne Drew and Sylvia Strobel currently sit at the epicenter of preserving the future of public broadcast media in Minnesota. Following the Corporation for Public Broadcasting’s loss of $1.1 billion in federal funding for NPR, PBS, and member stations over the next two years, hear what these incredible leaders are doing in their respective organizations not only to protect these critical resources for our state in this unprecedented moment, but to brace and prepare for an uncertain future.
All Town Hall Forum events are free of charge and open to the public at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Minneapolis. Seating is first-come, first seated. Doors open at 11:00am. Music begins at 11:30. The Forum begins at Noon. Our iconic "breads and spreads" reception follows the Forum and is open to all. Accessible parking is available onsite. Also available via livestream.
