Every Friday at 9:30 pm, The Residency at BLB features 2 improv groups who present their own solutions to the question, "how do you create 25 minutes of theater - without a script!"

Sept 12, 19, and 26 featuring Blackout and Too Bad We Don't Vibe.
Blackout (Karyn Wilson, Jada Pulley, Duck Washington, Alexis Camille, AlysshaRose Jordan-Bird, Lukas Ramsey, Khary Jackson, Destiny Davison, Dorian Beal, Aron Woldeslassie), the first all-Black improv group based in Minneapolis, does a combination of long form and short form, with their signature format being the swag hat. They ask the audience for a topic and discuss on stage before doing scenes inspired by the conversation.
Too Bad We Don't Vibe (Holly Brooks and Marika Sullivan) is a long form duo with a montage that includes lots of meta-scene work, asides, and maybe some fun floaty stuff in-between.
