An improvised newscast bringing you big stories from small towns.
Brought to you by the Channel 12 news team of Beverly Cheddar, Kaleidoscope Jones, Bill Pesto, Rusty Skips, and Snort Hackman, we perform long form improvised local newscasts, complete with exciting intro music, interpersonal anchor drama, weather reports, sports updates, field correspondents, interviewees/eyewitnesses, and sometimes in-studio guests! This show is inspired by the local news I grew up watching in my mid-sized Central Illinois hometown, which featured silly-without-meaning-to-be-silly small town stories, over the top delivery, and awkward anchor banter. In our show, we deliver headlines, go on location to get the scoop, and DO let our personal lives affect our delivery of the news.
