VIKINGS AND FALCONS FANS: This is the event page for the home opener tailgate party.
Hopefully I can answer any questions with this post.
This is a Sunday night game, which die hard NFL fans know means a WHOLE DAY of tailgating before the game.
This is the biggest and best tailgate party in Minnesota, and this time it goes all day.
It starts at 11 am (4 hours earlier than any other lot) and goes until 6 pm when we head in to the stadium.
We are located in the parking lot behind the Corner Bar at:
1501 S Washington Ave,
Minneapolis, MN 55454
The Courtyart Marriott is directly across the street and the stadium is a short 10 min walk.
Most people enjoy the walk, but we also have a Hummer limousine that shuttles people to the stadium for $10 each and plays loud music on the way.
For parking, there is the Courtyard Marriott parking ramp across the street for $25 or there is another parking lot across the street from the tailgate for $40.
If you are interested in buying a spot in our tailgate lot and setting up your own tailgate, watch my page and I will have spots available for $50 each the month before the game.
I have travelled around the country going to football games, and tailgate party wristbands are usually $50-$100.
This year at our tailgate, they will be $30 for noon games, $40 for night games.
$10 dollars more for night games because it’s twice as long a tailgate, and people eat and drink more. So this one is $40.
$10 for kids no matter what. We want this to be affordable for people.
This is for admission to the party which includes food and drinks.
We will have 4 food stations cooking tailgate food (menu will be posted the week before) and 4 bars serving drinks.
We will have a variety of beers, mixed drinks, and shots, all included with your wristband.
We are extremely kid friendly.
Because this is how you instill Viking pride in the next generation of Viking fans, by taking them to a kick ass Viking party.
We have a new Viking ping-pong table, multiple Vikings bag toss games, 2 Timberwolves Basketball games, arcade games, and 2 TV’s with PS5’s for kids to play Madden.
They will not be bored.
We will have a Timberwolves basketball game tournament for kids to win a prize, a Viking blowing horn from my friend Steinarr.
Technically, blowing horns aren’t allowed in the stadium. So hide it in your pants on the way in 👍🏻
We’ll have 3 age brackets to make it fair, 8 and under, 8-12, and 12+.
Steinarr will have his trailer full of Viking helmets, blowing horns, and drinking horns for sale in the lot.
We will have the noon and 3 pm games on multiple 84 inch TV’s.
We’ll have a photographer to take pictures and a new 360 degree Photo Booth that can fit 5 people. I’m excited to set it up and see what it can do.
We have a new sound system and DJ Ones will be providing the music for the home opener.

If for some reason you can’t make the game, I will refund your money as long as you give me 48 hours notice. Just send me a Venmo/cashapp request by Friday before the game.
Send money to “friends and family”. If you make it for purchases it will charge me $3.
There will be a table at the entrance to the lot that says “WRISTBANDS”, you go there to pick them up.
When you send money, MAKE SURE you indicate which game it is for, and say Falcons wristbands.
Buying in advance is helpful. If we sell out our max capacity beforehand, there will be no same day sales.
These parties are a lot of work and expensive to throw, but I'm doing it for cheap as possible so everyone can have the best NFL game day experience without breaking the bank.
Having the funds in advance to pay for the employees, parking, port-a-potties, food, drinks, etc. helps.
Minnesota might now have a Super Bowl (yet), but we already have one of the best tailgate parties in the NFL here.
And you don't have to do a thing.
You don't have to buy ice for the drinks, gas for the grills, cook, set up the tents, worry about the music, or anything else.
You just show up and the music's playing, the food's cooking, the drinks are cold, there's games and entertainment, and anything you would need for an amazing tailgate is already there.
Last year’s tailgate were epic. This year will be even bigger and better.
