September Service Event: Highway Clean Up

We are doing the Annual Adopt A Highway Clean Up.

Our stretch of road is Highway 62 between Cedar Ave (77) and 34th street.

1) We will meet at the Bossen Field Park parking lot at 9:00am. Please be prompt so that people aren't walking alone on the highway. Here's the map to get directions - https://tinyurl.com/bossenfieldpark.

2) They highly recommend closed toe shoes and gloves. MnDOT will provide us safety vests and trash bags. Our club has "trash claws" to save our backs. We will just leave the closed garbage bags on the side of the road for pickup later.

4) We are required to watch a safety video for this service. Feel free to watch it ahead of time, but we will review it together as a group before we leave the parking lot.

5) Once we have cleared a decent section of the highway, we can grab lunch together if people are interested.
