BRAINGIVER

A sophisticated international organization with known ties to Balkan drug lord Karter Konzić, Yemeni oil baron Hussein Al-Baum, Azerbaijani arms dealer Ehsan Hansen, and DPRK cyber-terrorist cell 'dealdrugger'. The criminals plan their rehearsals using encrypted phones from Canadian start-up Sky Global; resulting in hours of potent and psychedelic electronic music being manufactured and packaged to be smuggled through Belgrade and out to the EU before making its way to the West; with distribution hubs located in the Neukölln neighborhood of Berlin, North Minneapolis and the Whittier neighborhood of South Minneapolis.

A probe into the group by a BIA Special Prosecutor has revealed that BRAINGIVER uses illicit narco-trafficking profits to purchase large amounts of Roland synthesizers, MacBook computers, and various compressors, pedals, machines and modules to further advance their stated goal of VICE IN PLACE OF GOD.

Known to be unarmed and extremely dangerous, the group is reputed for a propensity for Medical Cannabis, Guinness Draught Stout, and synthesized nicotine. Europol estimates the syndicate's membership to be in the twos of dozens. BRAINGIVER is also believed to be involved in the Piracy and Hostage-For-Ransom of billionaire oligarch terayachts from the Gulf of Tunis to the Adriatic Sea.

€5 million reward for information leading to the capture of Known Associates.

rice

rice is James Blake, M. Harlan Engelmann, and Toby Ramaswamy, creating music with a focus on timbre and harmony. Intuitive forms explore the gradual processes of minimalism, or reflect the pacing of narrative media. Performing with analog synths, acoustic instruments, and a wide array of digital tools, rice is variously delicate or dense, and always strives for immersion.

rice began in 2016 and is based in Minneapolis and Saint Paul, Minnesota. It continues to reexamine its compositional approach, developing new interfaces and techniques for interacting with instruments and shaping sound sources.

rosewither

rosewither is a transgender ambient artist from Minneapolis Minnesota. Her music explores memory and the juxtaposition of isolation and intimacy. Everything within her music - including the soft synth-work, drums, everything - is made with field recordings that she takes herself. In doing so she believes it is the best way at achieving a sense of personal closeness with each listener.

Trever Hagen

I am a trumpet player with an "off with its head" approach to the instrument. For most of my adult life I have been seeking a new symbolic, sonic and physical language with the trumpet. An attempt that departs from conventions in order to search for new touchstones between listeners. I have had the good fortune to perform solo noise trumpet to groups across the globe – from a small cafe in Hangzhou to festival main stages. I have released solo noise-electronica albums with the labels 37d03d, Audiotong, Music of New Reference and No Icon. I also have a PhD and am the author of "Living in the Merry Ghetto" from Oxford University Press. I have given talks, courses and masterclasses on sound, music, noise and trumpet at universities and conferences in the US, Europe and Asia.
