Minnesota Winter Birding

Enjoy an engaging introduction to the stunning variety of birds that call Minnesota home during the winter months. From bright cardinals to cheerful chickadees, our winter landscapes are filled with life—and this seminar will help you recognize, support, and enjoy it.

Interpretive naturalist Katie Burns will introduce several common (and beloved) winter bird species and share what these hardy visitors need to survive and thrive during chilly Minnesota winters. You’ll learn practical, approachable ways to make your own backyard more bird-friendly, along with simple tips for feeding, sheltering, and observing birds throughout the season.
