Celebrate the arrival of summer with a full day of free, family-friendly fun at The Commons in downtown Minneapolis!
What to Expect:
10 am–2 pm – Lunchtime Lawn Games
Take a break and play disc golf, cornhole, and spike ball on the lawn.
11 am–1 pm – Bar Exam Trivia
Test your knowledge with this free outdoor trivia session—come solo or bring a team.
4–8 pm – Pick-up Soccer
Step into our inflatable soccer field for casual matches and fun for all skill levels.
7 pm – Line Dance Lesson with Billie and the Backroad Kickers
Learn the iconic Footloose (2011) line dance, then show off your moves during the movie when the scene comes on.
9:15 pm – Outdoor Movie: Footloose (2011)
Spread out on the grass, enjoy food truck fare, and watch Footloose under the stars—our first movie night of the summer.
All Day – Local Food Trucks
Grab a bite from a rotating selection of local favorites available throughout the day.
