About the event

International Water Safety Day
Celebrate International Water Safety Day with us by learning important life-saving skills and enjoying fun activities by the water!

About this Event

International Water Safety Day is designed to help spread global awareness of the ongoing drowning pandemic, and educate youth and parents in becoming safer in and around water. By coming together, we can help save lives and ensure that everyone has the knowledge and tools to enjoy water safely.

A variety of activities will kick off upon arrival. Dinner and swag bags will be provided! Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit, towel, and goggles. Lifeguards and swim guides will be present to ensure a safe and fun experience.

Swimming Pool Policies

  • Children ages 5 and under cannot be in the pool without a parent or guardian in the water within arm's reach, regardless of personal flotation devices, unless engaging in V3 Sports programming.

  • Children ages 6-9 who pass a swim test of a 37’ swim (one lap across the short length of the pool) and 10-second water tread or float, are free to be in the water with a parent/guardian on deck and may go in the deep end.

  • Children ages 6-9 who are unable to pass a swim test MUST stay in the shallow end (4’ or less).

  • Children 10+ who pass a swim test are free to swim while their parents or guardian remain in the Center.

  • Children ages 14 and older are allowed in the pool without a parent or guardian in the Center.
