Every human on the planet will become disabled if they live long enough which means we will all experience mobility restrictions in our lives! This class will explore performing in partnership with your body during these times rather than battling against it. Jacqueline Boxx guides attendees through an introduction to mind-body awareness and mobility restrictions using group discussion, guided visualizations, and movement/dance practice with an emphasis on adaptation for injury and disability. This workshop is designed to be fully accessible and to lead to fully captivating performances!

Feeling stuck on choreography? You don’t have to have a dance background to create dynamic routines! Discover and deepen your movement vocabulary, and leave with tangible tools you can use immediately to help create and upgrade any act.
We’ll learn how to start, edit, and polish our body of work. You’ll learn how to take the moves you already know, and make them more dynamic through musicality, levels, pacing, and intention.
