If you’re new to model railroad operations, or intrigued with what all the fuss is about, join the Twin Cities Division for our annual operations day. If you’re an experienced operator, we’re not turning anyone away – just be aware you may be operating with new hires and bring your patience.
This event is geared toward those new to operations with the objectives of having fun, learning more about model railroad operations, and hopefully getting yourself invited back for more sessions. It will start with a “Meet the hosts” social hour at the Byerly’s at 7171 France Ave S just north of 494 at 7:00pm on Friday the 27th. Come enjoy dinner or drinks or whatever you like and meet the owners of the layouts you’ll be operating on.
Each Operator will operate on two layouts on Saturday. The first layout will be from 9:30am until Noon (2 1/2 hours). Lunch is on your own until 1pm. Then, the 2nd layout will be from 1pm to 3:30pm. Everyone will operate 2 layouts. (Please be punctual.)
All we ask for is a $10 donation to help the Twin Cities Division fund future model railroad programs and events.
