Celebrating its 38th year, the St. Thomas Christmas Concert is a beloved university tradition, featuring talented Tommie musicians from select musical ensembles. This is one of our most popular events and we hope you join us to share in the divine sounds of the season!
Two 90-minute performances at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. will take place at Orchestra Hall on Sunday, Dec. 7. Tickets are $22.
The concert honors the persistent hope and resilience of our community with over 200 student performers in Chamber Singers, Donne Unite, Liturgical Choir, Concert Choir, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, and String Orchestra. Brass Choir and Guitar Ensemble will perform a prelude. All proceeds support students' international learning and performing opportunities in the arts.
Brass Ensemble and Guitar Ensemble will perform prelude music at 3:45pm and 7:15pm.
In partnership with Catholic Charities Twin Cities, the St. Thomas Music Department and Center for the Common Good will collect adult-size, waterproof, neutral-colored mittens and gloves at this event. They will be offered throughout the season to community members in need. Thank you for your generosity, as you are able.
