150th Anniversary of the Minneapolis Street Railway's Horsecar Service

Join us as we celebrate the 150th anniversary of the beginning of horsecar operation in Minneapolis! on September 2, 1875, Thomas Lowry's Minneapolis Street Railway began service. Weather permitting, we will be operating two of our streetcars between 4:00pm and 8:00pm on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at our Como-Harriet Streetcar Line.
