Glassblowing Project: Paperweights & Freeform Sculpture

Join glass artist Nathan Gieseke in the Hot Shop to further your technique. Experiment with color and movement as you make two paperweights. You’ll explore shapes from classical spheres to organic freeform shapes and experiment with color in motion. This class is recommended for students who have taken a previous glass class.

Level Beginner and above

Student Supply List
Please wear comfortable close-fitting clothes in natural fibers (a cotton t-shirt and jeans work well), and closed toe shoes. No dangling earrings or hair. Bring some water and be prepared to work in the heat!
