About the event

Glassblowing Intensive
On day one, you’ll learn glass handling skills, introduction to the furnace, and how to start a bubble in the glass. Day two refines your skills as you explore form, color, and the possibilities of glass. In this small and personalized workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to blow glass yourself and work towards your own creation. You’ll make several projects throughout the three days, including ornaments, vessels, and other forms. Ideal for friends and partners to learn together, from beginners to those with glass experience. Materials fee includes clear and colored glass, and your own hose for glassblowing.

Class size 4

Level Beginner and above

Student Supply List Please wear comfortable close-fitting clothes in natural fibers (a cotton t-shirt and jeans work well), and closed toe shoes. No dangling earrings or hair. Bring some water and be prepared to work in the heat!
