Finding out that your child has Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) can feel like a big moment. It’s natural to feel overwhelmed or unsure where to start. You’re not alone, many families have felt the same way at the beginning of their journey.
This session is designed to give you some helpful starting points. We’ll cover key information about SEND, the support that’s available, and where you can go for advice and guidance.
We’ve shaped this workshop using feedback from local families, focusing on the things they found most useful when they were in your shoes.
These sessions are open to all parent carers in Somerset who have a child with additional needs and/or a disability.
