We’ll hear from the Minehead Community Defib Group, a passionate charity dedicated to placing public access defibrillators across Minehead and offering free life-saving CPR training. Discover how bystanders can truly become lifesavers—and how you can be part of the movement.

There are over 30,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests a year in the UK, and less than one in ten people survive. Women have a lower chance of surviving than men. Early cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and defibrillation can more than double the chances of survival.

Then, get the latest from Minehead Swimming & Leisure, who will provide progress updates on proposed new facilities aimed at enhancing health, fitness, and community wellbeing in Minehead.
